LESSON 5

じこしょかい/ JIKOSHOKAI

じこしょかい is a way how to introduce ourself in Nihongo. Don't worry because it's not as hard as you think if you know how to present. Let me tell you how.

はじめまして.
わたしは ________ です.
どうぞうよろしくおねがいします.

Hajimemashite.
Watashi wa _______ desu.
Douzou yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

Hi.
My name is _______.
Nice to meet you.

# the space provided is to fill in the name.

'Hajimemashite' is a phrase for first time meet. 'Douzou yoroshiku onegai shimasu' is 'nice to meet you' after say your name also for the first time in polite form. If you want to say it just to friends just say 'douzou yoroshiku'.

Get it? Practice more as practice make perfect! ;)
